Early Life and Career

Anya Taylor-Joy is an American-British actress who was born in Miami, Florida. She is the youngest of six children, and her father is Scottish and her mother is Spanish. Taylor-Joy began her acting career at the age of 16, when she was cast in a small role in the film Vampire Academy. She gained recognition for her role as Thomasin in the 2015 horror film The Witch, and has since starred in a number of films, including Split, Glass, and The New Mutants.
